Inital Review

Another great article with minimum alterations needing to be made. I will await your reply before posting my final assesment. BigChrisKenney (talk) 05:02, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Done.

Sources

[edit]

[11] I am not sure why this is here. It references another Wikipedia article, Theophrastus, and that article does not mention quince, then following a link to his Enquiry into Plants, that doesn't mention quince either. Consider removal?

  • It's certainly a relevant fact, and it's supported by a full and (on inspection) correct citation to a chapter and section of Theophrastus's book. There is no reason why such a fact should be in the biography or book article, as these cover much broader subjects.

[28] The archived, original link is dead. BigChrisKenney (talk) 00:47, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Link is marked as such.

Final Assessment

[edit]
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose, spelling, and grammar):
b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable, as shown by a source spot-check.
    a (references):
    b (citations to reliable sources):
    c (OR):
    d (copyvio and plagiarism):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):
    b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):
b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Overall: Pass/Fail:

Congratulations on another GA! BigChrisKenney (talk) 00:32, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
